Everything you need to know what’s about to happen
Once again, it’s time for another Instagram update.
Instagram is changing the way we view content. Rolling out in the first half of 2022 we are now able to view posts through 3 different channels on the platform:
- Home
The home viewing is much the same as the way we currently experience Instagram. Content will be shown to you in an order based on how interested Instagram thinks you are in the post.
- Favourites
Here’s where you ‘favourite’ your go-to brands, influencers, and account to have them and only them pop up in this channel. It’s a list created by you for your ideal following to make sure you don’t miss out on any of your favourite accounts posts!
- Following
A chronological viewing of posts made only by accounts that you follow. You’re able to see all the latest posts based on their post time. Just like how Instagram used to be! They’re kicking it old school again.
As with every update, some users will be getting this change before others. We’re excited to see it all come together.
